Barbaro
Lopa painted this piece after Barbaro captured the nation’s attention when it won the first two races in the hunt for the Triple Crown before succumbing to an injury in the final race (which if he won, would have given him the first Triple Crown win in over 25 years). The editions were signed by Barbaro’s Hall of Fame jockey Edgar Prado.
Two editions were created from the original: the AROC (20 pieces) and the Deluxe (20 pieces). Both editions were signed by Edgar Prado.
